The creation of the Green and Blue Axis aims to benefit and strengthen the landscape integration of the natural systems in predominantly urban environment, whose strong occupation the last quarter of the twentieth century, and with different territorial expressions throughout its course, resulted in strong impermeabilisation and pressure on resources.
