There is an impressive limitation to run clinical studies in Portugal, with consequences for academia, healthcare and companies. To overcome this, the Medical School of University of Minho, with Hospital of Braga, created the Clinical Academic Center-Braga. Building on this, we aim to significantly impact the transfer of knowledge from the bench of biomedical and technology laboratories, as well as from SMEs, to the clinics and to the market.
