The 19 Municipal Chambers are part of the Intermunicipal Community of the Coimbra Region, intending to elaborate and implement Municipal Plans for Equality (PMI). This initiative is based on the commitment to implement public policies in the field of citizenship and the promotion of gender equality and follows the guidelines of the National Strategy for Equality and Non-Discrimination Portugal + Equal (ENIND).
