The General Hospital of the University of Coimbra proposes to convert its energy systems, with the use of LED in all lighting, heating of hot water by thermal solar panels, exchange of equipment for production and thermal distribution, insulations in the opaque surroundings, new glazing and production of electricity by photovoltaic panels for self-consumption.
