Refurbishment of the Samora Correia subsystem by reducing the number of existing sewage treatment plants at the end of life and at the limit of its capacity and construction of a new sewage treatment plant with adequate treatment capacity. This will achieve the objective of reducing urban pollution in water bodies associated with the subsystem, ensuring compliance with Community and national legislation, notably Daru.
