The operation Treatment of Wastewater of the parishes of Cabeceiras de Basto (S. Nicolau) and Painzela aims to integrate the waste water that is currently treated in the S. Nicolau treatment plant, in the drainage area of the Refojos treatment plant, the expansion of the last treatment unit and the extension of the sewage service to the population that is not yet served.
