The place of Alcorochel is served by a drainage network without providing adequate treatment due to lack of sewage treatment. The aim is to build a sewage treatment plant, two lifting systems and collectors for linking new infrastructures with existing ones. An appropriate system of collection, drainage and treatment of waste water will thus be achieved, reducing urban pollution in the body of water associated with the system (Rio Alviela – PT05TEJ0970).
