The realisation of this investment will ensure the treatment of waste water in the parishes of Alvite and Faia, which currently use individual septic tanks for the treatment of their effluents. These effluents, through the closures of the nets, will be forwarded for proper treatment at the Arco de Baúlhe sewage plant, which is being rehabilitated in the course of 2018.
