The operation foresees an increase in the reserve capacity of the cherry reservoir, necessary to receive exclusively adduction from EPAL, as a way to mitigate the impacts of the occurrence of anthropogenic pollution (tetrachloroethene) on AC16 capture. The operation aims to improve the quality of water for human consumption through the technically more feasible option, incorporating the investment priority (a) (iv) of Article 95 of the RESEUR.
