The operation foresees several actions whose implementation aims at the recovery and environmental rehabilitation in an integrated way of the former mining areas of Castelejo, Formiga, Vale de Videira, Vales and Póvoa de Cervães, in particular through the controlled confinement of contaminated materials in a single location, located in one of the cuts of the mining area of Castelejo.
