The aim of the project is to increase the amount of private investments in the region by investing for commercial development, in accordance with the economic specialisation of the territories defined in Rezekne City Council development programme and based on the needs of merchants.The main activities of the project are the reconstruction of Rēzekne City Komunāls Street in the 658 m section from Viļakas Street and 532 m section from the Liberation avenue to the railway crossing, construction of water supply and household sewerage networks, as well as construction of gas pipelines (for municipal money-ineligible street costs). The project’s planned activities will support 6 merchants, create 25 new jobs and attract additional non-financial investments in the amount of EUR 1785360.00.The project implementation period is 13 months.The total project costs are EUR 2110106.19 incl. EUR 1925663.74 eligible costs, which are financed by the following financial sources:ERDF EUR 1636814.18, which represents 85 % of the total budget; State budget grant EUR 72212.39 (3.75 %); Local Government funding EUR 216637.17 (11.25 %).
