The aim of the project is to improve the public infrastructure to promote business development in Dobele by rebuilding Rural Street in Dobele.The main activities are:1. Reconstruction of rural street in Dobele city, which is a functional connection with territories related to commercial activities. The street-related infrastructure will be built and arranged – rainwater sewerage with open-distance system, electricity infrastructure reconstruction without increasing its service capacity.Construction of self-flow household sewerage and household sewerage networks, construction of a sewage pump station connection, construction and reconstruction of water pipeline networks, construction of video surveillance networks and construction of low-voltage networks will be carried out.2. Author supervision of works.3. Publicity of the project will be ensured.The planned project implementation period: From July 2017 to December 2018.Total costs are 1 330 329.02, including eligible costs EUR 490 440.06 (ERDF funding – EUR 391614,64, State budget grant – EUR 24706.36, municipality co-financing – EUR 74119.07) and ineligible costs – EUR 839888.96, which will be covered from the local government budget. The rebuilt street infrastructure will ensure the achievement of the expected output indicators of the project: 2 merchants who have benefited from investments in infrastructure made within the framework of the project, 10 newly created jobs in merchants who have benefited from investments in infrastructure, EUR 750000 from investments made within the framework of the project non-financial investments of the benefiting merchants in their own intangible investments and fixed assets.The project is directly aimed at promoting entrepreneurship development. Rebuilt Lauku Street will ensure the creation of an attractive environment for entrepreneurship, mobility of labour, supply of materials to the local enterprises, removal of the produced products from the companies, as well as safe and high-quality transport flows. An increase in private investment will be encouraged.
