The aim of the project is to promote the improvement of energy efficiency in the building of the University of Latvia in Tālivaldja 1b, Riga.1) the planned thermal energy savings after project implementation are not less than 336.43 MWh/year (40.94 %/year); 2) the planned heat consumption for heating after project implementation will not exceed 30.9 kWh/m² per year (real energy need for indoor temperatures also includes significant heat flow from the hot water system);3) planned reduction of CO2 emissions of at least 98057 kg/year.Project total cost EUR 1242751.44, of which eligible costs – EUR 1238085.40, incl. According to energy audit and technical inspection of the building, it is planned to implement the following energy efficiency improvement measures in the building:1.Basic structures:- Insulation of facades using the approach of the roofed facade;- Insulation of windows from outside of the glazing all over the perimeter, including under windows (where it is physically possible) to replacement of old wooden windows. Replacement of old entrance doors against fireproof insulated metal doors.- Change of pre-installed PVC windows to more modern and more energy efficient windows.- Insulation of the cap.- Insulation of additional loose heat insulation wool on the attic layer where it is damaged or its thickness is reduced (due to mechanical effects or water dripping). 2Hot water system:- Installation of solar collectors to prepare hot water (with additional storage tank and connection to the existing system) with a total minimum capacity of 50 kW;- Install shower panels with adjustable piezo buttons with max.time + ECOSMART (or analogue) for limiting the flow of water and for adding air to the ventilation system.3.View power supply system metering: off-board installation. 15 months from the signing of the agreement on project implementation.
