The aim of the project is to increase the energy efficiency of buildings in Riga Technical University Agency “Riga Technical University Olaine College of Technology” (RTUOTK). During the implementation of the project simplified renovation of the college building and both service hotel buildings will be carried out. During simplified renovation of building envelopes external walls of buildings, basement walls will be insulated, old wooden windows with new glass windows will be replaced, the existing wooden exterior doors with new ones will be replaced. The eligible costs of the project amount to EUR 897 999,89. The financing of the project is planned from the public funding available for the selection round, 85 % from ERDF funding and 15 % from the national budget. The implementation of the project is planned within 45 months from the conclusion of the contract with the CFLA (17.04.04.2018). Implementation of the project for the college building is planned to be carried out during summer holidays of college students. Project implementation is planned to be completed no later than 17.12.2021. As a result of the implementation of the project, the expected savings of thermal energy will be at least 384.74 MWh per year, which is 36 % of the current thermal energy consumption. The ratio of the total planned energy savings (MWh/year) to the eligible costs of the project (thousand euros) is 0.58 (for Koledge building 0,64; Riga Technical University is the only professional training institution at the state level for the implemented education programs, and RTU OTC maintains the infrastructure for providing students with accommodation. The infrastructure is not used for economic or commercial activities.
