Implementation of energy efficiency measures in Riga Technical College building at Braslas Street 16

Project submitter – Vocational Education Competence Centre “Riga Technical College” complies with the objective of the specific support objective 4.2.1 of the Operational Programme “Growth and Employment” “To promote energy efficiency improvement in state and residential buildings” 4.2.1.2 “Promoting energy efficiency improvement in public buildings” – to promote energy efficiency improvement in State buildings. The submitter of the project is an educational institution under the authority of the Ministry of Education and Science. The aim of the project is to carry out complex energy efficiency measures in the Riga Technical College building at Braslas iela 16, Riga, 01000700906006, by implementing the activity – simplified renovation works that increase the energy efficiency of the building on the basis of the energy certificate developed by a certified energy auditor.By performing energy efficiency improvement works, thermal energy consumption will be reduced by 150.17 kWh/m², reaching the calculated heating energy consumption of 84.7 kWh/m². The main activities of the project are:- provision of energy efficiency improvement measures – insulation of exterior walls and cap, as well as building roof insulation and waterproofing restoration;- construction supervision;- project management;- publicity provision.Total project implementation duration is planned for 8 months. The total cost of the project is EUR 540497.52, of which the European Regional Development Fund funding is EUR 459422.89 and the state budget co-financing is EUR 81074.63.
