Implementation of energy efficiency measures in the building of Riga Technical College at Lēdmanes Street 3

Project submitter – Vocational Education Competence Centre “Riga Technical College” complies with the objective of the specific support objective 4.2.1 of the Operational Programme “Growth and Employment” “To promote energy efficiency improvement in state and residential buildings” 4.2.1.2 “Promoting energy efficiency improvement in public buildings” – to promote energy efficiency improvement in State buildings. The submitter of the project is an educational institution under the authority of the Ministry of Education and Science. The aim of the project is to carry out complex energy efficiency measures in the Riga Technical College building at Lēdmanes Street 3, Riga, Riga, 01000860354009, by implementing an activity – the energy efficiency improvement works of the building are based on the energy certificate developed by a certified energy auditor. Energy efficiency improvement works will result in a reduction in thermal energy consumption by 63.21 kWh/m², reaching an estimated heating energy consumption of 57.09 kWh/m² after project implementation. The main project activities are: Ensuring energy efficiency improvement measures – insulation of exterior walls and cap, as well as insulation of the building roof and waterproofing; — construction supervision; — project management; — ensuring publicity. The total duration of the project is estimated at 13 months. The total cost of the project is EUR 316000, of which the European Regional Development Fund funding is EUR 268600 and the state budget co-financing is EUR 47400.
