The aim of the project is to improve the energy efficiency of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development (hereinafter – MoEPRD), 25 Peldu Street, Riga. Within the framework of the project, insulation of building envelopes, replacement of service PVC windows and replacement of service wooden roof windows, improvement of technical systems of the building, including reconstruction of the building’s ventilation system and renovation of the heating system are planned. For qualitative implementation of the project it is planned to ensure construction supervision and author supervision. In order for the project to be implemented within the prescribed deadlines and in accordance with the planned objectives, project management will be ensured. The project duration from the time of signing of the planned agreement on project implementation is planned twenty-three months. The development and coordination of the construction project was completed by the end of 2018 and successively in the first half of 2019 the procurement of construction works was announced, which ended without results. The re-procurement will be announced by the end of September 2019, with construction works completed by the third quarter of 2020. The total eligible costs of the project are EUR 540786,66. The project will be implemented by attracting public funding, including the European Regional Development Fund funding of 85 % or EUR 459668,66, as well as the state budget financing of 15 % or EUR 81118,00. The amount of public funding for eligible costs per square metre of the total area of the building = 540 786.66/3728,30 m² = EUR 145.05 145.05.Ineligible costs of the project of EUR 22274.00, which are covered from the financing of MEPRD = 540 786.66/3728,30 m² = EUR 145.05 145.05 energy efficiency certification is planned for the energy efficiency of the building, which is covered by the Ministry of Environmental Bureau funding. • Heat consumption for heating after project implementation, on the basis of the calculations made in the energy certificate of the building and the planned construction works, 50.29 Wh/m² per year.
