The aim of the project “Enhancement of Energy Efficiency for Daugavpils University Service Hotel Vaļņu iela 29, Daugavpils” is to promote energy efficiency improvement and smart energy management of Daugavpils University service hotels in Vaļņu iela 29, Daugavpils. In order to reach the goal, complex insulation measures of the service hotel building will be carried out within the framework of the project: Insulated facade, roofing, cap and basement coverings, replaced heating system, heating unit and hot water supply system. Smart energy management after completion of the project will be ensured thanks to the management and control of the heating centre built in the building by telemetry. Improving the energy efficiency of the building, smart energy management and the use of renewable energy sources. The planned annual reduction in primary energy consumption in public buildings – 304.99 MWh/year; Estimated greenhouse gas reduction per year – 55.343 CO2 equivalent tons per year.The total eligible funding of the project is EUR 685000.00, including ERDF funding EUR 582250.00 and state budget funding EUR 102750.00. The estimated duration of the project is 48 months from the date of conclusion of the contract.
