Increasing energy efficiency of Jelgava City Municipality Educational Institution “Jelgavas Technology Secondary School”

The aim of the project “Enhancement of Energy Efficiency at Jelgava Municipality Educational Institution”Jelgavas Technology Secondary School“” is to increase energy efficiency in Jelgava City Municipality Educational Institution “Jelgavas tehnoloģiju Secondary School” on the way 9, in Jelgava, reducing thermal energy consumption and related costs in the building owned by the municipality. By carrying out the activities planned in the project, Jelgava High School of Technology will ensure a modern learning and work environment, increase the energy efficiency level of the building and reduce the costs of heating energy consumption in the long term. Planned results after project implementation: 1. reduction of annual primary energy consumption by 631134.35 kWh/year (47.29 %); 2.CO2 greenhouse gas reduction for 123.90 t CO2/year The total cost of the project is EUR 3833023.04, of which EUR 550056.00 is the European Regional Development Fund funding, EUR 24267.18 is the state budget grant to local governments and EUR 3308699.86 is co-financed by Jelgava City Municipality. Planned implementation period of the project: From April 2021 to December 2022.
