Improving energy efficiency PII “Vālsdzīte”

The aim of the project is to reduce primary energy consumption by promoting energy efficiency improvement in Tukums municipality pre-school educational institution “Vāldzīte” building and reduction of local government expenditure on heating by investing in the municipal building in accordance with the planned investments in Tukums Municipality Development Programme.The following supported actions are planned in the project, which will promote achievement of output indicators and include investments in energy efficiency improvement of the PII building owned by the municipality: Reconstruction of the existing PII “Vāldzīte” building and renovation of heating infrastructure and publicity measures. The results to be achieved are: 1) reduction of the annual consumption of primary energy in public building as a result of investments made within the framework of the project – 258717 kWh/year (kilovat hours per year), 2) reduction of greenhouse gas (carbon dioxide) gas per year as a result of investments made within the framework of the project – 52.541 CO2 emission equivalent (tonnes per year).The total project costs are planned to EUR 1776782.45, including the European Regional Development Fund co-financing EUR 454200.00 from the eligible project costs.
