The aim of the project “Promotion of development and accessibility of the natural landscape characterising the coastline for the diversification of culture and tourism services on the beach of Liepaja” (hereafter – Project) is to preserve the beach of Liepaja historical centre as the natural landscape characterising the Baltic Sea coastline, improve accessibility and increase socioeconomic potential in order to ensure the development and diversification of cultural and tourism services. The infrastructure to be rebuilt and constructed within the framework of the project will improve the preservation and development of the beach of the historical centre of Liepaja as a natural landscape or natural heritage characteristic of the Baltic Sea coast, preventing deterioration of the status of natural heritage, improving the infrastructure essential for wider accessibility and functionality of the object and improving the coastline as a platform and a place for the development of cultural services, as well as improving the quality of life and the environment of the inhabitants, improving the infrastructure essential for wider accessibility and functionality of the object, improving the coastline as a platform and a place for the development of cultural services, as well as improving the quality of life and the environment of the inhabitants, increasing the creativity of residents and city guests, maintaining and developing the Latvian cultural and nature capital and improving the coastline as a platform and a place for the development of cultural services, as well as improving the quality of life and environment of the inhabitants, increasing the creativity of residents and city guests, maintaining and developing the Latvian cultural and nature capital and improving the coast as a platform and a place for the development of cultural services, as well as improving the quality of life and environment of the inhabitants, increasing the creativity of residents and city guests, maintaining and developing the Latvian culture and nature capital and improving the coastline as a platform and place for the development of the cultural services, as well as to improve the quality of life and environment of the inhabitants, to increase the creativity of the inhabitants and city guests by maintaining and developing the Latvian cultural capital and natural capital during the implementation of the project, as well as to implement the project’s project’s project’s budget of EUR 1 006 66. The project plans ineligible costs of EUR 283 250,35, which will be covered from the budget of the Municipality.The total costs included in the project are related to Project implementation and necessary for implementation of the activities indicated therein, provision of needs of the target group and resolution of the defined problem. They will ensure achievement of the project goal and indicators.Within the project it is planned to achieve the following results: • A rebuilt object for preservation and development of cultural and natural capital;• Created premises for the creation of one new (qualitatively improved) service;• Increase in the number of visitors, which in 2023 would have increased by 6 000 visits compared to 2015.
