The aim of the project is to revitalise the degraded area of Valmiera industrial zone, in accordance with Valmiera city’s sustainable development strategy 2015-2030, the Development Programme 2015-2020 and the Investment Plan, by adjusting the public infrastructure for attracting private investments, thus contributing to the city’s growth, creation of sustainable production area, increase of private investments and creation of new jobs. Purchase of Real Estate at 1 Rūpniecības Street, Rebuilding of Railway Street, Construction of Eksporta Street, Rainwater sewer collector, collector service accessway and public parking, construction of sewerage networks in the rebuilt section of Railway Street, construction of water pipeline and sewerage networks on Eksporta Street, Eksporta 8, revitalisation of the territories of Railway Street 9 and Rūpniecības iela 1, construction supervision, author supervision. Within the project, the following output indicators are planned:-Reconstructed degraded area in Valmiera city 13,839 ha, including territories to be rented to merchants – 11.820 ha.-Newly created 55 workplaces in the restored degraded territory.- In the restored degraded territory, merchants made non-financial investments in their own intangible investments and fixed assets in the amount of EUR 2450000. Project total costs EUR 5014346,82. ERDF funding is EUR 3142525,17. May 2020 – September 2022.
