The aim of the project is to revitalise part of Jurmala city Ķemeri degraded territory by investing in improvement of publicly available infrastructure, including improvement of park territory, reconstruction of roads and streets, promoting economic activity and creation of new jobs in Jurmala city administrative territory, ensuring environmentally friendly and environment-friendly territorial growth. Within the framework of the project activities will be carried out in the development of publicly available infrastructure, providing for: 1) Paintingist Miervaldis Ķemeri avenue and related infrastructure renovation, creating parallel car parks along the roadway’s edge; 2) Renovation of Cathedral Street and related infrastructure;3) Restoration of Tukuma Street section and related infrastructure; 3) Reconstruction and restoration of historical Ķemeri park and park improvement. 1) a degraded area of 20.4 ha has been restored, which is adapted for the placement of new merchants or expansion of existing merchants in order to promote economic activity in Jūrmala City Municipality; 2) Number of merchants who have benefited from infrastructure developed within the framework of the project – 1 merchant; 3) Number of newly created jobs in merchants who have benefited from investments in infrastructure – 141 jobs; 4) from investments in infrastructure made within the framework of the project – non-financial investments of the benefiting merchants in their own intangible investments and fixed assets – EUR 5780000,00. Total costs of the project are EUR 9627807,18, including: Eligible costs of Project EUR 1 7573555,82, where:1.1. The co-financing of the European Regional Development Fund is 76,32 % or EUR 5780000,00;1.2. national public funding is 23.68 % or EUR 1793555,82, including:1.2.1.The state budget grant is 3.55 % or EUR 269033,37;1.2.2 The co-financing of the budget of the city of Jurmala is 20,13 % or EUR 1524522.45.2.The ineligible costs of the project are EUR 2054251.36;2.2.2 The project’s investments in infrastructure shall be implemented within the framework of the project’s non-financial projects.
