The aim of the project is revitalisation of Rezekne city Northern District RSEZ territory by regenerating degraded territory, ensuring environmentally friendly and environmental sustainability-friendly territorial growth and job creation. Within the framework of the project it is planned to build a production-office building of 6784 m², as well as a 456 mile access road and a parking area of 8110 m², which would ensure not only the reach of the building to be constructed within the framework of the project, but also the accessibility of several other land plots and buildings, which will be developed in the future both from Rezekne City Municipality and private investors. The street (access road) and the parking place to be built will be freely accessible to the general public, maintenance in good technical condition will be provided by Rezekne City Municipality. It is planned to rent the building to the merchant, which will be chosen by tender procedure. As a result of the project, at least 95 new jobs will be created and additional non-financial investments will be attracted in the amount of EUR 3500000. The reduction of degraded areas is planned for 4 ha.The specific target group of the project is Rezekne City Municipality, economic operators and residents. The total cost of the project is EUR 6 856 653.01, including. EUR 5 119 657,29 eligible costs financed by the following sources:ERDF EUR 3500000,00, representing 68,36 % of the total budget; State budget grant EUR 156765,96 (3.06 %); Local Government funding EUR 470297,89 (9.19 %);Private eligible costs 992 593.44 (19.39 %). The duration of the project is 21 months.
