The project aims to revitalise the territory adjacent to Kovšu Lake by regenerating degraded territory, ensuring environmentally friendly and environmental sustainability-friendly territorial growth and creation of new jobs.The main activities of the project are the reconstruction of Brīvības Street section and section of Ezera Street, construction of water supply and household sewerage networks in the reconstructed sections of Brīvības Street and Ezera Street, construction of Kovšu lake park, supervision of construction works, construction supervision and publicity measures. Duration of the project: May-August 2019 Project Cost Cost: EUR 8 967 565.09, of which ineligible costs EUR 4 331 257.15 and eligible costs of EUR 4 636 307.94, comprising ERDF funding of EUR 2 500 000.00, State grant of EUR 640 892.38 and municipal funding of EUR 1 495 415.56.
