Arrangement of degraded area in the zone Melnezera Street – Laustician

The aim of the project is to revitalise the territory in the area of Melnezera Street – Laustician in Tukums by regenerating degraded territory and organising publicly accessible street infrastructure for business development, ensuring environmentally friendly and environmental sustainability-friendly territorial growth and creation of new jobs. In order to promote employment and economic activity in the municipality, the infrastructure necessary for the development of public business will be improved by constructing Melnezera Street and its connection street Putniņu Street (including construction of water, sewerage and heating network infrastructure). The following activities are envisaged for the implementation of the project: Street construction, author supervision, construction supervision and publicity measures. The results to be achieved are: 25 newly created jobs, EUR 2400000 attracted investments, renovated degraded territory in the area of Melnezera Street – Laustician 1.75 ha.The total project costs are planned for EUR 609813,30, including the European Regional Development Fund co-financing shall not exceed 85 % of the eligible project costs.The project is planned to be completed within 12 months of signing the agreement on project implementation.
