The aim of the project is to revitalise the Sigulda Castle complex by regenerating the degraded territory in accordance with the municipal development programme, ensuring environmentally friendly and environment-friendly territorial growth and creating new jobs.The project includes reconstruction of three buildings of the Sigulda Castle complex for economic activity, as well as improvement of the territory of the castle complex.The total cost of the project is EUR 5417513.39, of which EUR 3946235.12 is eligible costs, EUR 1471278.27 ineligible costs. European Regional Development Fund funding is EUR 3085516.71 or 78.19 % of eligible costs.Project implementation will promote the creation of 56 new jobs, as well as non-financial investments by merchants located in the supported territory in their own intangible investments and fixed assets in the amount of EUR 80000. The restored degraded area totals 2.5 ha.The project implementation duration: From 1 August 2017 to 30 September 2018.
