Organisation of degraded territory in Jauntukums residential area

The aim of the project is revitalisation of the territory in the Jauntukums residential area in Tukums by regenerating degraded territory and organising publicly accessible street infrastructure for business development, ensuring environmentally friendly and environmentally sustainable territorial growth and environment for creation of new jobs.The planned project activities are aimed at the restoration of areas that are necessary for entrepreneurship, but at the same time degraded areas, where public infrastructure for road traffic is developed, possible placement of new companies and expansion of existing ones. In order to promote employment and economic activity in the municipality, the public infrastructure will be improved by rebuilding the section of Slocenes Street. The following activities are envisaged for the implementation of the project: Street construction, author supervision, construction supervision and publicity measures.The results to be achieved are: 2 newly created jobs, EUR 1450000 attracted investments, renovated degraded area in the area of Slocenes Street in Tukums 3,1 ha.The total project costs are planned to be EUR 688569, including the co-financing from the European Regional Development Fund shall not exceed 85 % of the eligible project costs.The project activities are planned to be completed in 2018, but no longer than 12 months after signing the agreement on project implementation.
