Within the framework of the project it is planned to implement the following activities: 1) Construction works for stage I objects:(a) renewal of the bridge over the Daugava River, (b) the bridge over the Maza Daugava, (c) construction of the Zaķusala embankment and (d) the existing bridge over the Bieķengrāvi downhill; 3) Construction supervision, during renovation, reconstruction and construction of the above mentioned objects;4) Designing:II objects – (a) traffic transmission over Krasta Street, (b) traffic transmission in Lucavsala, incl. Zaķusala escade, (c) the bridge over the top of the Biekhangarave, (d) the escade over the Byķengarave and the access road to the Salu Bridge Complex. 5) Informative/publicity measures:(a) installation of a temporary and permanent information stand, (b) information for mass media, news on the project applicant’s website.The project for the construction of Stage I objects was commenced at the end of 2014 and will continue until the 2020 quarter inclusive. Estimated costs of the project, including 21 % VAT:Total – EUR 15 088 567.46 Ineligible – EUR 9 880 882.18Ineligible – EUR 5 207 685.28Cohesion fund co-funding 85 % of the eligible costs, i.e. EUR 8 398 749.85.The project will result in eight construction projects/project documentation The project will result in the development of eight construction projects/project documentation for the objects of the Salu Bridge II and their expertise, the construction of four Long Island Bridge Set I objects, the auto-car supervision and construction supervision carried out.The project will result in reduced road-to-mobile and reduced time of the network with the city-to-local barriers.The project is designed to connect the road with the road sections of Stage I, as well as auto supervision of construction and construction supervision.
