The aim of the project is to create a system of pre-emptive adjustments of the labour market in order to make well-founded economic decisions for the development and implementation of policies. The project will develop a technical specification for the IT support technical solution of the labour market pre-adaptation system – a WEB-based labour market forecast analysis platform, which will include short-, medium and long-term forecasts (including labour market supply) in economic sectors, occupations and education. This will allow policy makers, educational institutions, career planning and professional development centres, graduates who plan to continue their studies and other interested persons to explore and analyse current future labour market trends in an interactive way, thus gaining a broader insight into prospective directions of professional improvement in the future. The IT support solution of the pre-emptive labour market restructuring system will provide information regularly available to the public on labour market developments. The development of technical specifications will be based on approaches, forecasting methods and models developed by previous EU funds planning period. The project will be implemented by the State Employment Agency (hereinafter – the State Employment Agency) in close cooperation with the Ministry of Economics (hereinafter – the Ministry of Economics). On 12 May 2016 a cooperation agreement was signed between the two institutions "For the implementation of the project "Improvement of the labour market forecasting system" (hereinafter – cooperation agreement).
