Development of study environment at Riga Stradins University

The overall aim of the project is to increase the number of modernised health care study programmes in the field of education in the field of health care.The specific objective of the project is to increase the number of study laboratories and other study rooms in the fields of pharmaceutical and medical studies, as well as to increase the quality and availability of studies, as well as to promote the competitiveness of Riga Stradins University (RSU) at the national and international level.In accordance with the RSU Development Strategy for the period 2017-2021, and taking into account the pace and priorities of pharmaceutical and medical studies, the development of a new infrastructure at the consulate 21, in Riga, will be applied in the framework of the project; in accordance with the RSU Development Strategy in Riga, the Ministry will be equipped for the development of the medical studies and taking into account the pace and priorities of pharmaceutical and medical studies, within the framework of the project the creation of a new infrastructure in consula 21, in Riga, will be applied in the field of studies, and in accordance with the strategy of the development of the RSU Development Strategy in Riga and taking into account the pace and priorities of pharmaceutical and medical studies, the development of a new infrastructure at the consulate 21, in Riga, will be applied in the field of studies, as well as the development of the Ministry of Medicine as well as in terms of the speed and priorities of pharmaceutical and medical studies, within the framework of the project the creation of a new infrastructure in consula 21, in Riga, and in accordance with the Ministry’s Development Strategy for the Year 2017-2021, and taking into account the pace and priorities of pharmaceutical and medical study directions, within the framework of the project will be the creation of a new infrastructure in consul street 21, in Riga, as well as in the field of study, in accordance with the RSU Development strategy for the years 2017-2021, and taking into account the pace and priorities of pharmaceutical and medical studies, within the framework of the project will be the creation of a new infrastructure in consula street 21, in Riga, as well as in the field of advanced pharmaceuticals and medical studies.In accordance with the RSU Development strategy for the years 2017-2021, and taking into account the pace and priorities of the pharmaceutical and medical studies, the development of a new infrastructure in consula 21, Riga, and the corresponding equipment of the Faculty of Medicine will be provided in order to provide the field of medicine and medical studies, taking into account the pace and priorities of pharmaceutical and medical studies, as well as the creation of a new infrastructure in consulate 21, •Learning audiences and lecture rooms;•Premises for lecturers and hospitals;•Other premises for health care study process (pharmaceutical and medical studies) – warehouse for herbariums and drones, quality control laboratory, DNA class, warehouses, laboratory auxiliary rooms, etc.).In turn, equipment and equipment for clinical simulation rooms will be purchased at RSU Medical Education Technology Centre. (1) Second level professional higher education study programme “Industrial pharmacy”, (2) Second level professional higher education programme “Pharmacy”, (3) Professional Master’s study programme “Clinical Pharmacy”, (4) Second level professional higher education programme “Medics”, (5) Doctoral study programme “Pharmacy”. The newly established building will concentrate the faculty of pharmacy (Chemical Department of Pharmacy and the Department of Technology of Medicines Forms), as well as to ensure rational and sustainable laboratory operation, several health care study directions training laboratories. Such an approach, as well as the actual location of the new building will create all preconditions, not only for expansion of pharmaceutical and health care study directions, but will also allow for a more rational use of existing resources – by concentrating one type of infrastructure (training and science) in one place, thus reducing the costs of maintenance, as well as improving the flow of teachers and students.The total cost of the project is EUR 6243821, from which ERDF co-financing is EUR 5307247.85, State budget funding EUR 936573.15 The planned duration of the project is 62 months, i.e. until 31 December 2022. The project is planned to start in September 2017.
