Development of Academic Personnel of the Latvian Academy of Culture – Investing in the Quality of Studies

The aim of the project is to strengthen the development and attraction of the academic staff of the Latvian Academy of Culture (LKA) in order to strengthen the strategic specialisation of the Latvian Academy of Culture, cooperation with the cultural and creative industries and international competitiveness.In order to focus, integrate, high quality and improve the human resources of the LAC in dialogue with external stakeholders and thus help to increase the performance of the LAC, the activities planned in the project: 1. Involvement of doctoral students in academic work2. Employment of foreign academic staff as teaching staff3. Development of Academic Staff Competence, including (1) internship with the merchant, (2) professional English language training, (3) specialised trainingThe result of the project is to promote effective achievement of the goals and tasks of the development of the LKA strategy, including developing the potential of the academic staff of LKA, implementing the study direction “Arts” (existing the development of the academic staff of LKA, developing the competence of the academic staff of the LAC, attracting new doctoral and scientific degrees, and the employment of foreign lecturers).
