The aim of the project is to implement various health promotion and disease prevention measures for several groups of residents of the target region, especially groups exposed to the risk of poverty and social exclusion, improving the availability of health promotion and disease prevention services in Dobele County. # Educational and health-enhancing summer camps, including children and young people with functional disorders – a total of 13 camps, 290 target audiences # 1-3. schoolchildren’s educational and health-enhancing day camps during the spring holidays – 2 camps, around 40 children.# Training for peer educators on health promotion topics – 3 trainings, 48 participants.# Educational seminars for local residents on health promotion themes- 120 participants;# Educational seminars for children;# Educational seminars for children;# Educational seminars for children;# Educational seminars for children; 2017/2018 30 lessons for 450 participants; 2018/2019 25 lessons for 350 participants;# Bicycle orienteering events – 2 – about 80 participants;# Health-promoting services for residents: The promotion of mental health; Cardiovascular prevention 29 lectures for inhabitants of the municipality related to oncological diseases related to the perinatal stage – about 270 inhabitants; 6 practical seminars aimed at promoting mental health – around 120 people. Management of Nordic walking/skiing groups in the county – about 300 inhabitants involved, – training classes for residents – organisation of Nordic walking day – about 60 participants involved. — Education of co-generational education for young people aged 15-19-3 training- 48 young people. — Zumba lessons for inhabitants of the region – about 50 participants – the school of expectant mothers – involved about 40 participants. — 2 Support groups for emotional upbringing of children of preschool children and adolescents’ parents – about 24 parents; — Feet walking – solo for inhabitants of the county – water aerobics population – about 60 personsFrom autumn 2020 to autumn 2023, the following health promotion activities continue:# Educational and health-enhancing camps, – a total of 22 camps.# 1st grade pupils’ educational and health-enhancing day camps for spring and autumn school camps – 8 camps during spring and autumn holidays.# 2-4 year school pupils educational and health-enhancing day camps for spring and autumn school children during the spring and autumn holidays – 8 camps.#9 for school students and health-enhancing days camps for spring and autumn school children during the summer and autumn period – health classes for 2nd and 4th class students. #Veselību promotional services for citizens: Exercises for children, children and young people with functional disorders, expectant mothers, other inhabitants of the municipality – a total of 250 lessons; Nordic/skiing group management in the municipality – 324 lessons, – School of expectant mothers – 30 lessons; — 4 Support groups for emotional upbringing of children for parents of preschool children and adolescents’ parents, a total of 40 lessons; Water aerobics – 110 lessons;Key disease prevention activities:# Health examination stand (measurement of blood pressure, body mass index, blood sugar testing, cholesterol measurement, express test of skin oncological diseases) – 15 events;# Nutrition specialist master classes for residents – a total of 102 events; The planned period of implementation of the project – 11 May 2017 – December 31, 2023.The total number of planned activities in the period from 2020 to 2023 is 934 measures.The total project costs are EUR 421 869.00, incl. European Social Fund funding EUR 358 588.65 and eligible national budget envelope EUR 63 280,35.
