The aim of the project “Improvement of infrastructure for the provision of community-based social services in Jūrmala” (hereinafter – the project) – to develop the social service infrastructure in Jurmala by investing in rebuilding or renovating existing buildings, equipping them to ensure the provision of high-quality and sustainable social services to adult persons with mental disabilities. The project activities focus on investment in infrastructure development and improvement in order to increase the quality and performance of social services in Jurmala by providing:1. community-based social services (day care centre, specialised workshop and “space time” services) for adult persons with mental disabilities; 2. group apartment services for adult persons with mental disabilities. Number of established and/or landscaped places for the provision of community-based services to persons with mental disabilities – 38 seats, including: 1.1. 30 (thirty) places for adult persons with mental disabilities; 1.2. 8 (eight) places for adult persons with mental disabilities for provision of group apartment services.The total indicative cost of the project – EUR 1474774.71, including: 1. eligible costs – EUR 1412590.00, where: 1.1. Co-financing from the European Regional Development Fund is 85 %, or EUR 1200701.50; 1.2. State budget grant – 2,25 %, or EUR 31783.28; 1.3. the municipal funding – 12.75 %, or EUR 180105.22.2 ineligible costs – EUR 62184.71. The project is planned to be implemented within 31 (thirty-one) months (from December 1, 2019 to 30 June 2022).
