The aim of the project “Development of social services infrastructure for implementation of deinstitutionalisation (DI) plan” is to create preconditions for children outside the family care and adult persons with mental disabilities (GRT) to receive necessary services, expanding their possibilities for inclusive life in the society.On October 5, 2018 the City Council “Establishment of the Social Services Board” will be granted the “Deinstitutionalisation Plan of the Kurzeme Region for the Year 2020”, and the decision of 25 June 18 for the decision of the city “On October 2020” will be published in the decision of the Ministry of Social Services of the Republic of 143 “For the 2nd October, the 2nd City Council of the Republic of 2018”On October 2020“the decision on the implementation of the project”Deinstitutional decision of the Republic of 2018 “For the 2020 decision of the City of the Republic of 4” to be implemented by the decision No 1.12. In the youth house there will be created and equipped living rooms (in each room 2 children), common living room, kitchen, laundry room, toilet facilities, etc. Improvement of the territory in the area near the entrance of the building will be carried out in order to ensure accessibility of the environment.2.On 9Viršu Street (five-storey apartment 1st floor, ~550 m² area) infrastructure will be created for provision of group apartment services with support for care, providing 16 places for mature persons (1 up to 2 floor apartments) with complete accessibility of the environment. In the building will be created and equipped separate living rooms for clients, premises for staff, lounge for clients, laundry room for clients. Improvement of the territory will also be carried out in the area near the entrance of the building in order to ensure the accessibility of the environment.3 Teodora Breikša Street 16/20, (constructing the existing non-residential building – workshop (with total area ~140 m²), attaching the 2nd floor to it), will create an infrastructure for the provision of specialised workshops, providing 18 places for adult persons with mental disabilities, where environmental accessibility will also be ensured. Built and equipped workshop premises, personnel premises, amenities, lounge area, wardrobe, etc. Restoration of the adjoining area will also be carried out in the area near the building to ensure accessibility of the environment and the provision of functions of the building.4Salmu Street 53, a residential building with integrated household premises will be built and equipped, improvement of the territory was carried out (in an area of ~200 m²), providing 8 places for the provision of services by a child care institution close to the family environment. The total cost of the project is EUR 2630900. The costs of all planned activities in the project are eligible costs, which consist of ERDF funding – EUR 2236265,00, state budget grant and co-financing – EUR 98658,75, Liepaja municipality co-financing – EUR 295976,25. 21 month from April 2020 to December 2021 inclusive.
