The aim of the project – creation and development of community-based social services infrastructure in Ķekava municipality.Implementation of the planned infrastructure development in the project will create preconditions for the provision of community-based social services to persons with mental disabilities and social rehabilitation services for children with functional disorders. Within the framework of the project restoration works will be carried out in Ķekava, 19 k. 8, 5th floor (approximately 415 square meters) of the building. The facility will create and improve:- Day care centre, providing social care services to 15 persons with mental disabilities, which may potentially end up in a state long-term care institution and who have a severe or very severe disability (I or II second disability group);- established and equipped social rehabilitation services for children with disabilities, who live in families and their legal representatives or foster families. At least 32 children with functional disorders will be able to receive quality services of physiotherapist, ergo therapist and psychologist as close as possible to the place of residence.The planned infrastructure works were started in September 2018. Project implementation period from November 2019 to December 2022. Total funding of the project EUR 379235,83, including ERDF funding EUR 322350,45, state budget grant EUR 8532,81 and municipal funding EUR 48352,57.
