The aim of the project is to restore the operational medical transport park to the Emergency Medical Service (hereinafter – NMPD) in order to improve the provision of timely and high-quality pre-hospital emergency medical assistance (hereinafter – NMP). Main activities for the achievement of the project goals: to purchase at least 157 new, fully equipped and operating medical vehicles registered in the Road Safety Directorate – medical support teams (hereinafter – OMT);- provision of information and publicity measures.The project’s activities are fully related to provision of emergency medical assistance in the pre-hospital phase, including the provision of health care services in priority health areas such as cardiovascular diseases, children (starting from perinatal and non-hospital health, in other cases of risk of infection. It is planned to start on 1 July 2021 and implement it until 31 December 2023. The total funding for the project is EUR 16400000, of which EUR 13940000 is ERDF, EUR 2460000 or 15 % is from the state budget.
