In order to ensure qualitative and effective performance of the functions of the Ministry of Health as a responsible institution, funding for raising public awareness about European Union funds is provided within the project, providing support for information and communication activities about European Union funds in the health sector, as well as funding for an employee, who ensures publicity and support on communication issues related to project implementation, and ensures management of technical assistance project of European Union funds. Employees from the Communications Division, Project Management Department, as well as Resource Management Department, who are already involved in implementation of projects for the achievement of ESF objectives, will be attracted as necessary for full achievement of the objectives. The remuneration is provided from the basic budget of the Health Ministry or from the indirect costs of Technical Assistance, since their involvement does not reach 30 % of the load on the project. Informative and publicity measures of the European Union funds are planned within the framework of the project, providing for actions related to informing the public about the European Union funds 2014-2020 planning period, providing that during the implementation of the project activities will be implemented in accordance with the communication strategy of the European Union funds for 2015-2023 and the annual communication plan of the European Union funds operational programme approved by the Managing Authority, which will detail the information and publicity action plan included in the communication strategy of the European Union funds for 2015-2023. The total cost of the project activities is estimated at EUR 154010, of which 130 908,50 are co-financing from the European Social Fund and EUR 23101.50 from the state budget. The project provides information and publicity activities of the European Union funds, reimbursements to the employee, who will ensure project management and publicity and support in communication issues, as well as additional planned personnel competence increase and acquisition costs and indirect costs of the project.The result will increase public awareness about investments of European Union funds in the health sector during the project implementation period – from January 2019 to December 31, 2021, and after it.
