In order to ensure qualitative and effective execution of functions of the Ministry of Health for 2014-2020 planning period of European Union funds as responsible institution, by carrying out supervision and planning of European Union funds, funding for planning and monitoring of European Union funds for 2014-2020 planning period health sector investments, as well as to ensure post-monitoring of health sector investments made by European Union funds 2007-2013. In addition to the project, it is planned to attract staff for project management. It is planned to renew material equipment, the existing equipment is both physically and morally outdated. It is also planned to carry out inspections at the locations of the project. It is planned to attend training sessions, workshops, seminars and conferences in Latvia and abroad to improve the qualification of project staff. Within the project indirect costs it is planned to provide management and implementation staff with appropriate working conditions, to cover utility payments, as well as to finance needs of other responsible institution.In total, EUR 800962, of which European Regional Development Fund funding is EUR 680817,70 and state budget co-financing EUR 120144,30.As a result of the project activities responsible institutions of the European Union funds in the health sector of the European Union funds will be used for the implementation of the project activities from 1 January 2016 to 31 December 2018.
