The aim of the project is to cater for the city heart of Elva in order to make it more attractive to entrepreneurship. The main street of Elva and the recreation area near Lake Arbi, linked to the main street, will be reconstructed. The modernised public space provides an attractive and comfortable physical environment for urban residents and visitors and the necessary infrastructure to increase and develop entrepreneurial activity. The architectural solution was found as a result of the design contest announced during the Estonian architectural programme “Good Public Space”.
