The project envisages the restoration of a total of 2000 ha of abandoned excavated peatlands, i.e. icefish. To this end, the following activities shall be carried out: — drawing up restoration projects necessary to restore the water regime; — carrying out environmental impact assessments; — if necessary, restoring the water regime with sowing of peat moss diaspora and organising and publicising monitoring to support the efficiency of restoration. The result of the project is a reconstituted residual marsh.
