The proposed investments form an integrated project on two components, water supply and waste water collection, a project that will contribute to the achievement of the objectives and results specific to the Large Infrastructure Operational Programme – Priority Axis 3 Environmental infrastructure development under resource efficient management conditions/Investment Priority 6.ii – Investments in the water sector, in order to meet the requirements of the environmental acquis of the European Union and to meet investment needs identified by the Member States that exceed these requirements/Specific Objective 3.2. Increase the level of collection and treatment of urban waste water, as well as the degree of water supply to the population. In this context, the general objective of the project will have in turn two components: 1. Increasing the assurance of drinking water supply to the population – component 1 – Extension of existing water supply and sewerage systems 2. Increasing the level of collection and treatment of urban waste water – component 2 – Improving the functioning of the existing sewerage system The result indicators that will follow the achievement of the two components of the project objective, indicators to be achieved at the completion of the project implementation in 2023: CO18 = 18.030 place. additional population benefiting from better water supply; CO19 = 53.230 l.e. – the additional population benefiting from better waste water treatment; 2S70 Drinking Water Distribution Network (new) – 23.9 km 2S73 (rehabilitation) – 3.3 km 2S74 Sewer Network (new) – 40.72 km 2S76 Collector 8.33 km – The degree of connection to the water supply system in Bucharest in 2018 is 93.34 % – 1.740.443 place.(of which 93 % – 1.734.143 place., according to the continuous supply to the quality parameters of the treated water). 2S33 – After investments in LIOP, the degree of connection and compliance will increase to 94.31 % – 1,758,473 inhabitants, in 2023 and 18.030 inhabitants will be additionally fed with drinking water at the end of the project, i.e. 0.546 % of the inhabitants requiring water supply at the level of Romania (target value FC – 3.300,000 inhabitants in 2023) and 0.094 % of the total inhabitants in Romania (19.175.019 inhabitants). — The level of compliant connection of biodegradable organic load (in l.e.) to collecting systems in agglomeration is 96.93 % (1683115 l.e.) of a total of 93.12 % (1736345 l.e.) connected to the collection systems. — 2S31 – The degree of connection of biodegradable organic load to agglomerations collection systems with more than 10000 p.e. will increase from 93.12 % (1736345 l.e.) in 2018, to 93.75 % (1748075 l.e.), after completion of the project, reaching 100 % compliant connection rate. — The number of inhabitants/l.e. additionally connected whose waste water will be transported and treated after the end
