Phase of the project “Extension and rehabilitation of water and wastewater infrastructure in Dambovita county”

This notification confirms that the documents (feasibility study, including the analysis of options and the results of the CBA, the environmental impact assessment, institutional analysis, etc.) which formed the basis of Decision C(2010) 3517, as well as the information communicated in the phase-in request (the body responsible for implementing the project, the investment and the place of implementation, according to the financing request assessed and approved by the COM, the total cost and the total eligible cost, taking into account the requirements set out in Article 61 of COM Regulation (EC) 1303/2013) are maintained and are not such as to change the original purpose and objectives of the project as well as the results of the cost-benefit analysis. The purpose of the project is to continue and complete the works on the extension and rehabilitation of the water and waste water infrastructure in Targoviste, Moreni, Gaesti, Pucioasa, Fieni and Titu agglomerations, which were started under the SOP Environment 2007-2013. The beneficiary population of the project will be about 143.113 inhabitants. The connection rate to the sewerage systems will reach an average of 94 % in the agglomerations concerned. 95 % of the population in these localities will be connected to the drinking water network and will thus have access to safe water sources. The works financed by the project will be operated by the Beneficiary. The following indicators, to be realised in Phase II of: Water supply indicators – New and rehabilitated distribution networks: 9,75 km (of which: 3,39 km Targoviste-CL3; 6.36 km Titu-CL 10 Lot 1) – Chlorination Stations: 1 pcs; (Moreni-CL 4) – Tanks: 2 pcs (Moreni-CL4) – SCADA system 1 pcs Waste water indicators – Extension of sewerage network: 5,32 km (of which: 2,50 km Gaesti-CL9 and 2.82 km Titu-CL 10 Lot 1) – Rehabilitation of sewerage network: 0,12 km (Targoviste-CL 3); — Vacuum sewerage network: 10.99 km (Titu- CL 10 Lot 2); Treatment plants: 3 pcs (Moreni-CL 4, Gaesti-CL 8, Titu-CL 8) – Vacuum Stations: 2 pcs (Titu-CL10 Lot 2) In terms of drinking water supply, by completing the works to ensure full compliance with EC Directive 83/98 on the quality of water intended for human consumption. The connection rate to the water supply services will reach 95 % after the implementation of the project. As regards waste water, the physical indicators presented above will generate, through the implementation of Phase II, a connection rate to waste water services of 94 % in all agglomerations of the project, as well as compliance with EEC Directive 271/91 on urban waste water treatment. As regards indicator 2S29, related to compliant SEAU serving agglomerations with more than 10 000 p.e., it should be noted that the total equivalent inhabitants who will benefit from waste water treatment in accordance with the Eur Directives
