The project “Integrated Waste Management System in Cluj County” was approved by the EC by Decision C(2011) 3917/10.06.2011, the Financing Contract being signed on 11 July 2011. The estimated eligible value of this project was RON 199 851,543 net of VAT (EUR 528 994, EUR 1 = 4,1235 lei), and the discounted value following the signature of the procurement contracts is RON 198 451 642.81 excluding VAT (EUR 48 126 989.89).The phase-up request was approved by the Environment SOP MA under No 38858/09.05.2016 and requested from the COM for two financing stages: phase I SOP Environment 2007-2013 and Phase II through LIOP 2014-2020. The project phase was approved by Commission Decision C(2017) 79/10.01.2017. Indicators fizici:FAZA I+FAZA II Component 1 – Waste collection and transport 1.1 Acquisition of 7820 collection bins of 1.1 mc indicator that was reached during Phase I. 1.2 Construction of 3 Waste Transfer Stations in Cluj County respectively at Huedin, Mihai Viteazu and Gherla, equipping them with the necessary equipment for waste transport to the Integrated Waste Management Centre and building access roads for each station. The construction of access roads to waste transfer stations is ineligible expenditure to be borne by the Beneficiary. 1.3 Acquisition of 21,000 individual composting units with capacity of 220 l 1.4 Acquisition of 17 containers for hazardous municipal waste with a capacity of 6 mc 1.5 Acquisition of 46 containers for bulk waste with a capacity of 15 mc Component 2 – treatment of waste 2.1 Construction of a waste sorting station within the Integrated Waste Management Centre with a processing capacity of 92.100 t/year. 2.2 Building a mechano-biological waste treatment plant within the Integrated Waste Management Centre with a processing capacity of 206,000 t/year for wet fraction treatment. Component 3 – landfilling 3.1 Construction of a landfill with an area of 7.7 ha, lifetime of 5 years and depot capacity
