The project proposed for funding from LIOP 2014-2020 represents Phase 2 of the project “Integrated Waste Management System in Maramureș County”, its purpose being to continue and complete the works started within the infrastructure project initiated under the SOP Environment 2007-2013. The general objective of the project is to develop an optimal waste management system in Maramureş County by improving waste management services and reducing the number of historically contaminated sites, in line with EU practices.
