Competitive entrepreneurs – sustainable and inclusive employment in the economic sector of the North-East Region!

GENERAL OBJECTIVE: Developing the professional skills of 505 managers, entrepreneurs and people from human resources departments for sustainable and inclusive employment in economic sectors with competitive potential, as well as increasing the performance of economic operators in 14 sectors with competitive potential and in conjunction with the areas of smart specialisation in the North-East Region (tourism and ecotourism, textiles and leather, wood and furniture, creative industries, food and beverage processing, health and pharmaceuticals, automotive and components industry, information and telecommunications technology, energy and environmental management, bioeconomy/biopharmacs and biotechnologies, construction, construction materials manufacturing, professional, scientific and technical activities, distribution). The project responds directly to thematic objective 8: Promoting sustainable and quality employment and supporting labour mobility, i.e. Specific Objective 3.8. Increase the number of employees benefiting from standard human resources management tools, methods, practices etc. and improved working conditions in order to adapt the activity to the dynamics of the economic sectors with competitive potential identified according to the NCNS/Smart Specialisation Areas according to the NCSD. The proposed general objective is directly aimed at developing the professional skills of 505 people in the target group (relating to the programme specific indicator 4S416), of which 335 persons who provide strategic management of companies and 170 are employees of human resources departments. At the same time, a minimum of 55 SMEs are targeted by the project (relating to the 4S17 resolution indicator). Number of enterprises supported, of which SMEs active in one of the economic sectors with competitive potential identified according to the NCNS and in conjunction with one of the smart specialisation areas according to the NCSDS) active in all 6 economic sectors with competitive economic potential in the North-East region, two of which – textiles and furniture processing are considered sectors with smart specialisation potential, according to the North-East Regional Development Plan 2014-2020. The project strategy aims to provide vocational training courses tailored to the needs of the people in the target group, as evidenced by the centralisation of the training needs assessment questionnaires, as well as the need for assistance and advice provided to managers in the enterprises and companies concerned in the 14 economic sectors regarding the development of strategic planning and their revision according to the current socio-economic context. On Environment AND LUNG, the results of the project will contribute to the development of new business ideas, competitive at regional, national and even international level
