Increasing the number of employees benefiting from improved tools, methods, practices and working conditions in order to adapt the activity of the Water Company Târgoviște – Dâmbovita S.A to the dynamics of the “Energy and Environmental Management” sector

Providing tools, methods, standard human resources management practices and improved working conditions for 55 employees from the Water Company Targoviste – Dâmbovita S.A. in order to adapt its activity to the dynamics of the energy and environmental management sector. The energy and environmental management sector, mentioned above, is an economic sector with potential competition in the South Muntenia region, as stated in the smart specialisation strategy of the region: DSI5: Smart localities. It falls within the economic sectors identified in the National Strategy for Competitiveness 2015-2020 and is correlated with the field of intelligent specialisation “energy, environment and climate change” according to SNCDI. The project responds directly to the objective of Priority Axis 3 – Jobs for All, Thematic Objective 8 – Promoting sustainable and quality employment and supporting labour mobility, Investment Priority 8.v – Adaptation of workers, enterprises and entrepreneurs to change, by carrying out professional development actions for workers, through vocational training and development of specific complementary skills, measures that lead to increasing the degree of adaptability to sectoral professional requirements and implicitly to the dynamics of the economic environment, thus supporting the increase of mobility on the labour market and sustainable employment in the region. The project responds directly to the achievement of the specific objective of call 3.8 – Increasing the number of employees benefiting from tools, methods, standard practices of human resources management and improved working conditions, in order to adapt the activity to the dynamics of the economic sectors with competitive potential identified according to the SNC/Intelligent Specialisation Areas according to SNCDI, through a series of activities to improve or improve the professional skills of the persons in the target group, through actions of transfer of know-how and the introduction of new tools within the Water Company Targoviște – Dâmbovita, in order to increase the competitiveness potential and adapt to the dynamic environment. The development of specific sustainable skills, related to the transfer of knowledge, is achieved through individualised measures of the type of professional training, coaching, thus ensuring solid premises for maintaining the long-term results. The positive long-term effect of the project is the direct result of the dual addressability of the transfer of knowledge, tools, methods and practices proposed: on the one hand, to the employees who, at the end of the project, will have new competences to offer them the future development in the management field, and on the other hand, of the company as a whole, thus providing the permanent and sustainability of the expected results,
