General objective: improving the managerial, entrepreneurial and human resources management skills, as well as the ability to use and promote current innovative and inclusive tools, methods, practices and standards of management for 510 managers, entrepreneurs and employees of human resources departments in sectors with competitive potential and high specialisation – mainly from Tourism and ecotourism, Food and Beverage Processing and Textiles and Leather, according to SNC/SNCDI, in the Centre Region and supporting 48 SMEs to review/develop long-term strategic plans. With a target group of 510 managers, entrepreneurs and employees of human resources departments, from enterprises in the Center Region, the project will directly contribute to increasing the number of employees benefiting from tools, methods, practices and standards of strategic management and human resources management in the mentioned sectors (OS 3.8. POCU). A complex of authorised training programs will be implemented by NCAs and activities such as “seminars” combined with support for the development/revision of strategic development plans of enterprises, the ultimate goal being to improve the management capacity, capitalise human resources and increase their profitability in the medium and long term. In the long term, the project aims to lay the foundations of the “learning organisation” as the basic concept of the knowledge-based economy in the fields concerned, with about 510 multipliers and about 48 SMEs supported with strategic plans. At the level of the local economy, the benefits will be: 1) development of inclusive entrepreneurial culture, through managerial practices and human resources and jobs where staff qualities and strengths are favored, 2) products/services with high degree of specialisation, 3) attracting new clients, 4) efficient use of resources. As a result of the development/improvement of strategic planning skills in entrepreneurship and at the top and middle management levels, as well as within human resources departments, we aim to adapt workers, enterprises and entrepreneurs to change (POCU investment priority 8.v.), in the context of knowledge-based economy and exponential growth of information. Sustainable, inclusive and quality employment is also sought (Ob. Thematic 8 of POCU), by raising employers’ awareness of the job requirements of the 3 rd millennium (highly specialised, digitised, supported by productivity tools and by techniques of prioritisation and problem solving) and, last but not least, a shift towards a culture of permanent learning, as a promoter of the efficiency and effectiveness of economic activity.
