The general objective of the project is to increase access and equity in higher education from Aurel Vlaicu University from Arad, addressing in this respect a target group of 50 students and 450 students, in order to reduce the rate of abandonment of studies, by providing financial support to a number of 350 students from vulnerable categories and by increasing the attractiveness of educational offers by developing 5 new entrepreneurial programs, correlated with the improvement of the competences of a number of 90 academic staff. Thus, the improvement of quality and efficiency as well as access to third and equivalent education will take place in order to adapt future graduates to the current needs of the labour market. The project contributes to the achievement of the specific objective of the program and call (OS 6.7, 6.9, 6.10) because it aims to participate the teaching staff of higher education in the postgraduate program of professional improvement, providing entrepreneurial programs related to higher education for 450 students with applicative component and related certification, awarding 350 student scholarships without discrimination, for all students who are nontraditional or rural, as well as participation of students in professional counseling/guidance programs and remedial activities. The targeted benefits at target group level will be passed on at local, regional and national level. Thus, they translate into benefits set out below from short-term to long-term benefits: —increasing awareness on the benefits of participating in competent training/development programs, professional improvement for teachers in order to improve their skills to develop competitive educational offers on the labour market; — training and development of professional skills adapted to the latest developments on the labour market by developing and providing 5 new educational offers; — training and development of pedagogical competences and design of study programs, necessary for teachers in the university system; — Increasing targeted opportunities for staff mobility for pedagogical training and enhanced cooperation between pedagogical training centres across the EU. development of social partnerships to optimise the educational offer (partnerships between educational institutions/units and employers); — developing a university partnership through the transnational exchange of teachers’ experience with a university in the European Union, namely Berlin, Germany – developing an IT platform – a virtual remote learning community – promoting research and innovation, including through the use of ICT, in the sector with competitive potential/in the field of intelligent specialisation in which the Applicant operates (advanced materials, we manage
