The general objective of the project is to increase the number of tertiary education graduates in the Centre region who find a job, by implementing an innovative program to ensure access to learning activities in companies from sectors with competitive potential for 260 students of the “Lucian Blaga” University in Sibiu. The project contributes to the achievement of the specific objective of the program (OS 6.13) through the 115 students who will find a job at the end of the participant’s quality, which represents 1.33 % of the total 8589 persons proposed as the POCU target for 2023. Compared to indicator 4S129, the project provides access to support programmes for transition to active life for 260 students (1.35 % of the total 19209 students/trainees assumed as POCU target for 2023). Regarding the secondary themes covered under Priority Axis 6/PI 10.iv, the project contributes to their achievement by awarding prizes and other measures to prevent school drop-out (social innovation), non-discrimination and equal opportunities (minimum 20 % of the target group will be students from rural areas), access to the use of ICT in contexts relevant to potential employers and students. In the long term, the project will generate positive effect by: (1) the creation of a coordinated information system between companies and universities that allows skills to be anticipated and curricula adapted to the requirements of the labour market; (2) Strengthening and training the professional skills of future graduates through work-based learning activities; (3) Strengthening students’ digital skills by providing learning opportunities associated with equipment, software and applications used by potential employers; (4) developing partnerships with companies in the Center region, focusing on sectors with competitive potential identified according to NCNS and smart specialisation fields according to SNCDI.
